Kills fire ants and helps prevent new mounds from forming. Provides general ant control (excluding carpenter ants and pharaoh ants). For use outdoors, on fire ant mounds and ant nests, and as a broadcast treatment in lawns for general ant control (excluding carpenter ants and pharaoh ants). Apply in early spring or summer at the first sign of ant activity. Reapply in the fall to reduce the number of ants that will return next spring. This product is a bait so you will initially see MORE ants. The active ingredient will kill the worker ants slowly so they have time to take the bait back to the Queen and kill the colony.
