The proprietary Mace brand valve system has multiple internal nozzles/orifices to permit the material to quickly evacuate the canister and maintain the benefits of using a gel. Without our proprietary valve design, the gel must be thinned to more of a syrup consistency which would eliminate the benefits of using a gel.
